Sean McArthur

"The Ex"

Description:

Oh, God, this guy was my first everything. First boyfriend, first partner in crime, first deliciously bad influence. He gave me my first Grimoire, my first truly awful hangover…my first time. First heartbreak, too.

See, after highschool things started to change. It wasn’t some kind of grand ordeal, it’s just…stuff gets more complicated when you’re grown up. I was heading off to school, but he was staying home. We really tried to do the long distance thing. I really did.

But it was my first year of college, and there’s so much stimulus, you know? I never heard from him anymore, as much as I tried to keep in touch. It started feeling like I was holding a place for someone who wasn’t even there anymore. And at this http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/cold-comfort/characters/sean-mcarthur/editone party, there was this guy, and I knew I really shouldn’t and it was all so fast…

I fucked up, and I hurt him. I fessed up about it right after, but we both knew what it meant. It was a mutual parting of ways, I guess. In the end, he was still my friend. He sends me letters sometimes. Real, honest-to-God paper letters that he writes out and sends pictures with. Sometimes we talk on the phone.

Even as I guy I hardly see, he’ll always be one of my top people. I remember everything we did together fondly.

But now comes the confusing part. His last letter told me he’s moving to L.A. and now I don’t know how to feel about it. It’s all in the past, right? Location can’t fix what we wrecked. Right?

In a few words: passionate, feisty, but oddly laid back until you provoke him. He’s kind of stereotypically Irish in all the best ways. He tends towards being unorthedox.

OOC: I conceptualize that Sean is some kind of sorceror, given the fact that while Theresa diverted her path, he never really did. Of course, he probably wouldn’t mention it to her while she was a cop, but…
